Ultimate adventure, real expedition. Chance to sail and explore Svalbard with one of the oldest and last real Norwegian polar boat.
ANNA is 118 years old ex-sealshunting vessel. She made many hunting trips to Svalbard, west-ice and white sea on coast of Siberia since 1907. She was expedition vessel in 1911 on Birger Jacobsen Spitzbergen Expedition. We would like to follow this historic records and keep writing her new stories.
Few limited expeditions at Svalbard - two ocean crossing expeditions, two cruising expeditions and ultimate all around archipelago expedition.

Our goal is to keep this old veteran boat sailing. Sail whenever we want, where is some adventure and open horizont.
We are not running a profit-driven charter cruise; the sailing fee helps maintain and operate the boat. Compared to other tourist trips, we offer more sailing time for less money to provide a deeper experience.
For last eight years, since I bought her, Anna has sailed the entire coast of Norway, the Baltic Sea, and Shetland. She spent winters in Tromsø. Also I sailed her singlehanded from Tromsø to Oslo.
When I saw Anna for first time, she was an almost abandoned, non-working boat with an unknown history.

Sailing across the see with few days stop at Bjørnøya (Bear island), arriving to Svalbard and we spend rest of our time cruising and exploring Svalbard.
All persons are "full crew" and part of expedition. Taking watch, steering, hoisting the sails, preparing meal, etc.
Sailing experience is a must or to have enought courage.

Trip will start at Longyearbyen and come back to Longyearbyen. We will exploring west coast of Svalbard. Try to reach ice edge, found polarbears, visiting shore and mining settlements.
All persons are "full crew" and part of expedition. Taking watch, steering, hoisting the sails, preparing meal, etc, but we can arrange "full service" trip for group.
Coastal sailing, no sailing experience required.

Trip will start at Longyearbyen. We will sail all around Svalbard archipelago. With enought time for stops at amazing places. Part of this expedition will be searching and exploring germans weather stations from WWII. Also we will reach ice edge, found polarbears, visiting shore. Than we will sail directly to Tromsø over Bjornøya. Still there is a option after all around archipelago sailing return to Longyearbyen and after than heading to Norway.
